OmniPort Is Developing Substantial Crude and Products Storage Capacity
GT Logistics has four internal floating roof storage tanks in close proximity to its transloading operations, each with shell capacity of 55,000 barrels. The storage tanks are outfitted with blending capabilities, and heating coils. Currently tanks are utilized to store diesel and gasoline. Stored products are currently received by barge, and are exported via rail to Mexico.
1,300,000 barrels of product storage is under construction for pipeline in and vessel export across GT Logistics’ deep water docks.
Management has reserved OmniPort acreage for new tanks with the ability to increase storage capacity to six million barrels.
